About HIF Installation

HIF Installation is a full-service hospitality and retail FF&E installation company, providing clients with swift movers, highly skilled installers, and detail-oriented project managers capable of executing installation projects, no matter the size or complexity, from start to finish.  In order to provide the highest level of service to our customers, HIF Installation is a proud partner with the local Hawaiian Carpenter’s Union.  This partnership provides us with highly skilled installers throughout the Islands capable of handling the most technical and complicated installations – including some finish work!

Both of HIF Installation’s sister companies, Hawaiian Islands Forwarders, and Venn Corporation, originated from within the logistics industry. In concert with our sister companies, HIF Installation offers a full suite of services to support the entire supply chain of incoming FF&E, OS&E, OFCI, OFOI, and construction materials from a vendor through installation at the project site.

Our team of logistics professionals and project managers have experience including 1000+ room resort hotels in the Islands, luxury hotels in major cities and retail & hospitality properties throughout North America, HIF and Venn’s logistics professionals are thoroughly versed in the requirements for project logistics.  Having worked with vendors spanning the globe, the HIF Installation Team has experience and long-standing relationships with a full breadth of transportation, warehousing, and other industry partners. This experience allows HIF Installation to offer clients access to all modes of transport and a global network of logistics service providers to bring certainty to what is often the uncertain world of project logistics and installations.

We bring the experience and resources to provide:

  • Expert FF&E assembly and installation services – Signatory with the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters (local United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Union)
  • FF&E coordination from procurement, through warehousing, delivery, and final installation
  • A proprietary information management system that seamlessly tracks and maps every item HIF Installation is contracted to install on the project – including:
    • In-bound FF&E and material logistics and transportation management with vendors
    • Project warehousing receiving and inventory reporting
    • On-site receiving and final placement/assembly/installation management

Partners
Hawaiian Island Forwarders specializes in managing complex freight to the Hawaiian Islands and on to Guam.  With our partners at TC Trading, HIF extends its reach to managing freight moving to and from Alaska.  These specialty services allow Venn superior service to not only the mainland but all 50 United States, as well as Canada and Mexico.
Through our affiliation with Venn Corporation, Hawaiian Islands Forwarders provides a range of options to move our customer’s freight to/from the port of sailing, or our facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA, allowing us to utilize the most cost-effective inland transport options to meet the delivery and related sailing schedules.
The Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters is the local branch of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America.  The UBC is one of the countries largest trade unions with over 500,000 members nationwide.  With the Hawaii Regional Council of Carpenters by our side, HIF Installation is able to offer its customers on-site installation crews comprised of experienced, highly skilled carpenters with capabilities to install the most complex FF&E packages.  ​
